Dr. Dean Kane uses very small liposuction cannulas to remove the fat from the jowls, jawline, chin and neck by using tiny puncture sites in the hairline in the temples, behind the earlobes and right under the chin. There is no cutting of the skin so there are no large scars on the face or neck. The face is left with a very defined jawline and neck once the swelling is gone. The initial swelling and bruising can take 2-3 weeks when most patients go back to work. But the residual swelling and result will take approximately 3 to 6 months. This is a one-time procedure, and the results are permanent, so the liposuction does not need to be repeated. Patients love their newly slimmed and contoured faces and neck.
